Coming soon…

wishing for spring

When big fluffy flakes fall all day long outside the tall windows, my painting studio feels like a life-size snow globe.

Two weeks ago, as photographers Matoli Keely and Kristen Lynne and stylist Alex Meyer prepared for their film photography workshop here, the snow swirled all day in dancing arabesque patterns, even as several deer hunkered down in the woods out back.

After a lot of hard work, the effect of white snow, white walls and white draperies was lovely and ethereal.

During the workshop, gorgeous floral arrangements by Kimberly Glover provided delicious spring color.

Below, a glamorous photo of beautiful model Katie Masek reflected in the mirror and studio door.

More wonderful photos will be released after these talented ladies have their articles published in several wedding magazines.

Meanwhile, at the end of this week, another photography workshop graces the studio.

On March 13-14, Sarah Bradshaw will teach a two-day class called The Intentional Photographer, combining passion and purpose with business and art, for photographers looking to grow as business owners, establish a community of like-minded photographers, and hone their message to create a more cohesive brand and defined body of work.

Beautiful as it is, I hope we’re done with the snow!  Come, spring!
